[ParagonX9 - Chaoz Airflow]

Nice one there, Jermain!

Sounds very crisp and well balanced.
And 4 minutes, way to go ;) You're actually starting to make full-fledged songs.
But seriously, dude, the beginning was almost a copy of Chaoz Fantasy man xD
You could've tried and not make it so obvious you're making a second Chaoz Fantasy, but still, well done and congratulations on another song completed.

This is pure Hardstyle, man! Nice work!
I kindof missed a loud sub-bass though, maybe next time add a low sine to the kick so it'll have more impact (but don't overdo it please)
For the rest, very nice. The cymbals and hi-hat could use a little more high-frequencies, so just work on your EQ-ing skillz and it'll be even more awesome ;)

Since you asked for it

Here are some constructive comments:
- The main melody is a tad too loud, might want to try and blend it in with the rest of the song instead of putting it on top ;)
- The entire song is being crushed to it's limits and beyond. Please, volume isn't everything. Everyone can pump their volume at home if they want to. It sounds like you compressed it too much, or it's just clipping and it's disguised very well, but lower the overall volume. This is just too much
- Try and use samples, instrumets and effects. Your music will sound way more original and less like it's just patterns jumbled together.

Nice to see you're still making (awesome) songs!
Damnit I love this! Haha. Very minimalistic and very clear, it's great.
The ONLY thing that could be better (after listening to this for a long time) is the weird clapping sound in the background.
I dunno, it sounds a bit dry, maybe a little extra reeverb would have done the trick?
(But I'm just being picky here XD)
Very sound song man, great ambient ;)

Hey, Nideco! It's been a while. Thanks for the review! I must admit that I do have a fascination with the "clap." I know it's an old, overused sound, but I just can't help it sometimes :D What turned me back on to the sound was the use of the clap at a Chemical Brothers concert I went to in Brooklyn a while back. The clap is still cool, man!

Awesome

Really, very intense and some GOOD metal for a change ;)
I like the drums rolling in the beginning. Only thing I miss are some good crashes with more impact and release.

Well, there is a lot of GOOD metal in the portal. Just search a little and you'll find quite some good stuff! Right about the crashes, they could have been a little better but oh well, now it's too late anyways. XD

Awesome Ambient DnB man. Love the panning, love the bass.
The only thing that could be better is the volume,
when the bass kicks in, the song sortof drops. Other than that... Job well done ;)

Well...

It's nice and sounds like there's something heavy going on.
But the synths sound kinda empty, more like they're sirens or alarms, then really synths that should be the melody.
The rolling kick is super.
But really the thing that made me vote lower is the initial synth.
It just sounds too empty and because of that, repeating it throughout the song makes the song empty... (ok hard to describe what I mean, but I hope you know where I'm going at)

Well, it is... but it is very repetitive for a 3+ min. song.
At 2:42 where the rest is silent and you only hear that one synth. That's a nice break, but then it's back to it's repetitive self.

Nice fiddle-around, but could be better.

Thanks for the review. I am actually redoing the whole song with no sequences. I know about this one being repetative, but like I said it was the best of the 3 versions so it had to at least be known about. I liked the melodies I came up with in this one so I am trying to make the new one very good with little repetition.

Very nice

Very nice piece as background music.
It seemed like it was missing something small, don't know what exactly though.
The bongo's in the middle are well put, but the second high bongo is too high, or the wrong tone. It just seems a bit out of place.

Oh and nice way of how the real beat kicks in after the sporadic kick. I like that ^^v

Glad to see you enjoyed the song. The kick at the beginning came about because I wasn't really sure how to start the song so thought I'd just go straight in after some beats. I see what you mean about the bongo part, I think the trouble is that it is a little too loud, well it'd probably sound better if it was a little quieter anyway. Thanks for the review!
